Managing toothache at home - THE dentist, Salisbury

Advice for managing toothache at home

24th May 2020

Toothache is, as we know very unpleasant, but at the moment we are having to manage with pain relief with things like paracetamol, cocodomal, perhaps. If you take the pain killers as a normal prescriptive item that should help.

Other things are to avoid very extreme temperatures, so very cold ice creams or very hot cups of tea. Try to avoid biting on that side and keep it as clean as possible. Try sleeping with a couple of extra pillows to reduce blood flow to that area. This will improve the pain.

Give us a call and we will direct you to the appropriate place if necessary, but we will advise you further.
